In addition to slurry trenching, soil mixing, and the Geo-Trencher, Geo-Solutions has the ability to install vibrated beam cutoff walls. In this method, a beam is vibrated into the ground to create a cavity that is subsequently filled with a low permeability mixture. This method of installation has advantages on sites with highly contaminated materials because no material is removed during the installation. Vibrated beam cutoff walls are also a good option when the cutoff wall needs to be installed very close to sensitive structures or in narrow work footprints because these walls can be installed with little or no disturbance to nearby features and little work room.
